Cairo - Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) announced that it would close on 11 December on the occasion of Prophet Mohammed's birthday for the year 1438 Hijri.

EGX will resume trade normally on Monday, 12 December.

Meanwhile, the Egyptian Central Bank announced that all the Egyptian banks would be on vacation for the same holiday.
