Kuwait – Mubasher: Zain Group said that the court has ordered the company to settle the undersecretary of finance ministry’s lawsuit, and pay KWD 4.95 million.

The lawsuit was filed regarding the national workers subsidy for the year 2008, according to a bourse statement issued on Wednesday.

Zain clarified that no financial impact will affect the company’s position as previous provisions were created.

On the stock level, Zain ended Wednesday’s session higher by 2.41% to reach 425 fils after 3.93 million shares were exchanged at a value of KWD 1.56 million.
