Dubai – Mubasher: The benchmark index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) started Sunday’s trading session higher with 1.11% or 40.4 points to reach 3,668.25 points by 10:33am UAE time.

The rise of the index was backed by all the sectors, except for the industrial segment which remained unchanged.

The insurance sector topped the gainers with a growth of 3.11%, on the back of Al Aman Investment which gained 12% to top the winners.

The banks segment levelled up by 0.93%, endorsed by the 0.9% rise of Dubai Islamic Bank.

DFM’s trading value stood at AED 234 million after 238.2 million shares were traded through 2,290 transactions.

Amanat Holdings was the most active stock on which 71.55 million shares were exchanged at a value of AED 72.45 million. The stock rose by 2.5%.
