Abu Dhabi - Mubasher: Egypt Air regional manager in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain said fly eight new Boeing airplanes this year, which are funded by Dubai Aerospace as part of a nine-plane $864 million deal.

Osama Haroun also told Mubasher on Tuesday that the deal will help Egypt Air in renewing renew its fleet with the state of the art aircraft models, he noted that the Egyptian airlines intends to increase its capacity to 105 planes by 2021, and to 151 by the year 2025.

Two planes has been dedicated to the Abu Dhabi - Cairo line to increase its capacity, after it saw a noticeable growth last year by 15% to 164,200 travellers, compared to 143,360 in 2015, Haround added.
