Doha – Mubasher: Qatari Investors Group reported on Thursday a net profit of QAR 56.72 million ($15.55 million) for the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2016, against a net loss of QAR 437.96 million ($120.05 million) for Q4-15.

Net profit for fiscal 2016 reached QAR 277.045 million, compared to a net loss of QAR 251.96 million for fiscal 2015, according to a bourse statement.

Earnings per share amounted to QAR 2.23 for fiscal 2016, compared to loss per share amounted to QAR 2.03 for the previous year.

The group’s board of directors recommended cash dividends of QAR 1 per share (10$ of the share’s nominal value), subject to an approval by the ordinary general meeting to be held on 22 February.
