DFM adds 0.21% in Tuesday’s early trades

Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) opened Tuesday’s trading session in the green zone, spurred by the rise of five sectors topped by the real estate and banks.

The DFMGI went up 0.21% or 7.73 points to reach 3,715.18 points by 10:20am UAE time.

The insurance sector topped gainers with a 0.9% rise after Dubai Islamic Insurance and Reinsurance Co. (AMAN) increased 3.9%.

The real estate sector went up 0.35% as Emaar Malls Group (EMG) climbed 1.15%.

The banks sector advanced 0.28% after Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) levelled up 0.66%.

On the flipside, the investment sector fell 0.38% as SHUAA Capital and Dubai Investments slid 1.8% and 0.4% respectively.

Turnover stood at AED 137.44 million after trading 94.05 million shares through 1,059 transactions.
