Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The UAE stock markets are expected to see a better performance in 2017 as compared to last year, Al Khaleej newspaper reported.

The markets’ liquidity “greatly improved” since the beginning of this year, according to Obaid Saif Hamad Al Zaabi, acting CEO of the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA).

Average daily liquidity exceeded AED 1 billion, he said, adding that net foreign, Arab and Gulf investments amounted to AED 517 million.

The liquidity recovery is mainly attributed to oil price stability and improvement in geopolitical conditions, Al Zaabi added.
