Mubasher: The majority of the Gulf stock markets are expected to see a downward sideways performance on Wednesday, analysts told Mubasher.

Headed by foreign investors, traders at the GCC markets tend to liquidate purchasing positions built through blue chips in the past sessions, in line with Trump’s latest decision over travel ban, capital market analyst Nayef Al-Anzi.

He noted that the investors were negatively affected by the US economic policy, which is related to trading and taxes. These worries are based on policies that may affect the oil prices and the capital inflow of shares.

The majority of GCC shares, of which companies have not announced the financial results yet, will likely see further purchases on Wednesday, analyst Muhammad Al-Anzi noted.
