Mubasher: The board of Zain Bahrain has approved the dividend distribution for the fiscal year ended 31 December, 2016.

Zain will pay a cash dividend of 12 fils per share to the entitled shareholders for FY16, compared with 14 fils paid for FY15, according to a company disclosure issued on Wednesday.

During the fiscal year of 2016, Zain Bahrain posted a drop of 18% in net profit to BHD 4.3 million ($11.3 million) from BHD 5.1 million ($13.5 million) in the previous year.
