Mubasher: The Gulf markets are foreseen to continue their volatile downward performance over this week in line with the anticipation of the US President’s new decision and the sanctions imposed on Iran, analysts told Mubasher.

The main index of Muscat Securities Market (MSM) is expected to start a positive performance during this week, capital market analyst Ibrahim Al-Filkawy noted.

The GCC markets are likely to see a sideways downward performance this week as investors anticipating financial results of the fourth quarter, capital market analyst Ahmad Aql clarified.

The markets are likely to regain their positive performance on Sunday in line with the recovery of oil prices following the sanctions recently imposed on Iran, capital market analyst Duaa Farouk said.
