Cairo – Mubasher: Abu Qir Fertilizers posted on Sunday a rise of 303.3% in its profits for the second quarter of the fiscal year 2016-2017 to EGP 851 million, versus EGP 211 million for Q2-15/16.

Profits grew in the first half of fiscal 2016/17 by 115.3% to EGP 1.09 billion from EGP 506.59 billion for H1-15/16.

Revenues increased in H1-16/17 by 26.18% to EGP 2.28 billion from EGP 1.8 billion for H1-15/16, according to a bourse statement.

On another note, foreign exchange earnings reached EGP 732 million in H1-16/17.
