Mubasher: The Gulf stock markets are foreseen to regain their positive performance during the first half of February on the back of companies that announce good financial results and dividends, analysts told Mubasher.

The UAE and Kuwaiti stock markets are projected to see purchases in February in line with companies’ disclosures of high market value during 2016, deputy director of investment research department at KAMCO, Raed Diab, said.

Investors at Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) and Bahrain Bourse (BHB) likely to see more companies’ announcements; the Saudi stock market and Muscat Securities Market (MSM) are expected to go through volatility process after most of their listed firms announced their financial results, Diab noted.

Boursa Kuwait saw a profit-taking activity after the stock market levelled up 19% in January, capital market analyst Hammoud Al-Shimmery said.
