Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Monday’s trading session with mixed performance by 9:40am Kuwait time.

The price index fell by 0.55% or 36.45 points to reach 6,651.8 points, while both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices gained 0.45% and 0.90% respectively.

Turnover reached KWD 21.27 million, after 246.23 million shares were traded through 4,403 transactions.

The oil and gas segment led seven decliners with 2.27%, dragged by Marine Services which lost 7.46%.

Meanwhile, the banks sector topped four gainers with 0.39% as AUB Kuwait rose by 1.85%.

Al Ithmaar Holding was the most active stock on which 31.44 million shares were traded.

Zain recorded the highest trading value that amounted to KWD 2.94 million. The stock levelled up by 2%.
