Mubasher: The majority of the Gulf stock markets are expected to continue their sideways upward trend on Tuesday, and witness more purchasing on blue chips by foreign and local institutions, analysts told Mubasher.

The financial results and dividends of the leading companies will strongly endorse the GCC markets in the coming trading sessions, capital market analyst Ahmad Ismail said.

On a technical level, Ismail said that the Saudi market’s index may reach 7,200 points if it holds at the 7,000-point level; DFM’s main index will likely reach 3,800 and 4,000 points once it holds at 3,650 points; ADX will rise to 4,600 and 4,800 points if it holds at 4,500 points; and Qatar Stock Exchange’s index will regain its rise to above the 11,000-point level if it holds close to the 10,000 points.
