Kuwait – Mubasher: The price index of the Boursa Kuwait added 0.01% or 0.48 points to the mark of 6,793.21 points.

Likewise, the weighted index rose 0.04%, while Kuwait-15 shed 0.02% on Thursday's early trades.

By 09:50am Kuwait time, trading volume reached 65.7 million shares traded through 1,571 transactions at KWD 9.7 million.

The oil and gas sector also went up 1.62% supported by Napesco, which hiked 5.75%.

The banks registered a 0.67% increase as Ahli United Bank (AUB) moved up 4.2%.

On the flipside, the telecom sector decreased 0.51%, on the back of Viva which lost 1.2%.

The industrial sector saw a slide of 0.34% as Shuaiba Industrial declined 5.9%.

AUB led traded volumes and values by exchanging 7.17 million shares at a value of KWD 1.77 million.
