Cairo - Mubasher: The first assistant to the Egyptian minister of social solidarity said that 32,000 persons have been eliminated from social insurance as part of the ministry’s plan to review social programs and verify the eligible.

Reviewing the dead come as the priority in reviewing the beneficiaries’ databases, Neveen Al-Kabbag added in a statement on Saturday.

Al-Kabbag also indicated that the number of beneficiaries from the social solidarity program reached 1.7 million, noting that the ministry aims at reaching a compromise between the social solidarity program and the Takaful and Karama program, to provide an integrated social net.

Extensive checking campaigns will be organized to identify and prioritize eligibles, in coordination with social programs to complete databases, and cover most of the poor families, as well as to exclude the ineligible, the minister’s assistant added.
