Mubasher: Bahrain Cinema reported a drop of 40.1% in profits during the fourth quarter of 2016 when compared to the same period of 2015.

Earnings shrank to BHD 850,000 ($2.2 million) in Q4-16 from BHD 1.42 million ($3.6 million) in Q4-15, according to a bourse filing issued on Monday.

The company’s profits in the fiscal year decreased by 22.82% to BHD 4.87 million from BHD 6.31 million in fiscal year 2015.

Bahrain Cinema’s board recommended a cash dividend of 50% for FY16.
