Dubai - Mubasher: The chief executive government officer of Al Dahra Holding, Sulaiman Al Nuamei, said on Monday that his company plans to expand in Serbia and Romania during the current year.

Al Nuamei added in his remarks to reporters on the sidelines of the Gulfood 2017 exhibition in Dubai that the plan is to cultivate 30,000 hectares in Romania, and another 20,000 hectares in Serbia in 2017.

Al Dahra has also acquired a feed production company in Australia as it is seeking to expand in this sector.

Al Nuamei also revealed that the company currently operates in 26 countries around the world, and that they are reviewing an offer to reclaim 50,000 hectares in Ethiopia.

Al Dahra aims at achieving an annual growth rate of 30% by expanding, increasing exports, and introducing new products.
