Kuwait- Mubasher: The price index of Boursa Kuwait shed 0.01% or 0.57 points to 6,780.43 points, while the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices edged up 0.25% and 0.51%, respectively.

Trading volume reached 107.72 million shares through 2,202 transactions, with a turnover of KWD 16.67 million, by 09:55am Kuwait time.

The gas sector led gainers by 2.45%, backed by Napesco which rose 7.2%, while the banks sector added 0.53%, supported by Ithmaar Holding which increased 3.2%.

On the other hand, the telecom sector fell 1.14% on the back of Viva which decreased 3.49%.

The financial services sector was also down 0.32%, weighted by Arabi Group Holding which declined 4.76%.

Ithmaar Holding topped traded volume by 27.04 million shares, while the National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) led traded values with KWD 6.04 million.
