Cairo – Mubasher: The ministry of petroleum's official spokesman Hamdy Abdel Aziz said that Egypt will receive two petroleum shipments from Saudi Aramco on 25 and 26 March.

Abdel Aziz told Mubasher on Monday that Egypt received two shipments of diesel fuel on Friday and Saturday from Aramco.

The shipments came after Aramco's decision to resume oil shipments after a halt over several months, Egypt's petroleum ministry said.

In October, Saudi Aramco notified the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) of the suspension of the agreed oil shipments.

As a result for the suspension, the EGPC had contracted 700,000 tonnes of diesel and gasoline from international markets - an amount that was supposed to be supplied by Aramco, Abdel Aziz added.
