Riyadh - Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Monday’s trading session in red due to the negative performance seen by all of its sectors, with turnovers reaching its lowest level in six sessions.

The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) lost 0.48% or 33.38 points, and closed at the level of 6,919.25 points, moving further away from the level of 7,000 points.

Traded values went down to around SAR 3 billion, its lowest level since 12 March, compared to SAR 3.16 billion in Sunday’s session, while traded volumes went up to 161.29 million shares compared to 156.88 million shares.

As for the sectors’ performance, 14 sectors closed in red, led by banks which fell 0.95%, as Al Rajhi declined by 3.12% to the level of SAR 63.75 after the approval of cash dividends.

The materials sector decreased 0.45%, as SABIC and SAFCO slid 0.44% and 0.34%, closing at SAR 96.25 and SAR 68, respectively.

Meanwhile, 106 stocks closed in red and 55 closed in green.

Solidarity was Monday’s biggest loser and dropped 5.52%, while Atheeb Telecom led the gainers and surged 5.53%.

Dar Al Arkan was the most active in traded volumes with 20.14 million shares, while Alinma registered the highest turnover at SAR 288 million.
