Mubasher: The Central Bank of Bahrain’s (CBB) monthly issue of governmental short-term Al-Salam Islamic Sukuk worth BHD 43 million was subscribed by 169%.

The issue starts on 22 March and ends on 21 June, the CBB added in statement on behalf of the Bahraini government.

The CBB expected that the return on the sukuk to reach 2.23%.
