EGX30 down 0.39% in Wednesday early trade

Cairo – Mubasher: The benchmark EGX30 of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) declined at Wednesday’s open by 0.39% or 50 points to the level of 12,855.5 points.

By 11:00am Cairo time, the EGX50 index also fell 0.11% to 2,027.06 points.

On the other hand, the EGX70 and EGX100 indices rose 1.43% and 0.94%, respectively.

Trading volume reached 42.7 million shares exchanged at EGP 218.6 million.

Foreign investors were net buyers by EGP 18.5 million, while net sales amounted to EGP 17.4 million by Egyptian investors and EGP 1.2 million by Arabs.

Commercial International Bank – Egypt (CIB) retreated 0.01% to EGP 76.19.

Nasr for Civil Works was the top loser after falling 9.97%, followed by Arab Aluminum (-6.67%) and Egypt Aluminum (-6.24%).

Meanwhile, Arab Drug Company, National Company for Maize Products, Misr Hotels, and National Company for Housing rose between 10% and 7.15%.
