Riyadh – Mubasher: The main index of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) fell 0.92% or 63.68 points to 6,849.10 points at Wednesday's mid-session.
By 11:33 KSA time, 73.17 million shares were exchanged at a value of SAR 1.34 billion through 41,630 transactions.
Media topped losing sectors and decreased 2.4%, followed by the insurance and energy sectors by 1.9% and 1.8%, respectively.
The banks and materials sectors went down 1.3% and 1.1%, respectively, while the telecom sector inched down 0.5%.
Tihama led the worst performers and retreated 3.2%, followed by Gulf Union by 3.1%, while Saudi Indian Company for Cooperative Insurance rose 3.6%.
Meanwhile, the main index (NOMU) of Nomu-Parallel Market grew 1.2% to stand at 5,167.26 points.
Abo Moati for Bookstores led the red zone and lost 2.5%.
Baazeem Trading was the only gainer and went up 0.14%, while Al Samaani Factory for Metal Industries Co opened stable.
