Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait ended Wednesday’s trading session 2.02% or 138.98 points higher, closing at 7,020.18 points, the highest level in two years and a half.
Both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices went down by 0.6% and 1.08%, respectively.
The industrial sector topped four gainers with a rise of 8.2%.
The consumer goods segment gained 2.45%, on the back of Eyas which leapt 23.88% to reach 415 fils -, its highest price since listing.
Meanwhile, the banks sector led six decliners with 0.63%, dragged by NBK which dropped 3.95%.
NBK recorded the highest trading value of KWD 2.81 million.
