Riyadh - Mubasher: The board of Saudi Electricity has invited the company’s shareholders to attend the extraordinary general meeting (EGM) on 19 April, according to a bourse filing.

The EGM will vote on the distribution of cash dividends for the year ended 31 December 2016, at SAR 0.7 per share, the company said in a statement to the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) on Wednesday.

The eligibility of dividends concerns shareholders registered in Tadawul’s securities depository at the closing of trading day of the EGM.

The date of the distribution will be announced at a later date, the statement indicated.

Shareholders will also vote on approving the board of directors and auditors’ reports for last year, as well as providing healthcare for previous board members for five years after the end of their tenure, and to grant the board members a total of SAR 931,880 as incentives for fiscal year 2016.
