Kuwait – Mubasher: Boursa Kuwait opened Thursday's session on a mixed performance.
The benchmark price index inched down 0.05% or 3.22 points to the level of 7,016.96 points.
The weighted and the Kuwait-15 indices shed 0.02% each.
By 10:00am Kuwait time, trading volume reached 76.54 million shares, exchanged at KWD 8.9 million through 1,700 transactions.
The telecom sector led the red zone and fell 1.03%, weighted by Ooredoo which decreased 1.7%.
The financial services sector also went down 0.19%, on the back of Credit Rating and Collection plunging 21.05%.
On the other hand, the banks sector added 0.47%, backed by Boubyan Bank which rose 2.5%.
The real estate sector went up 0.24%, after Munshaat Real Estate gained 3.33%.
Aayan Real Estate witnessed the biggest trading volume activity with 10.19 million shares, while the National Bank of Kuwait achieved the highest turnover of KWD 2.36 million.
