Mubasher: The main index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) gained 0.81% or 84.21 points to reach 10,445.24 points by the week ended on 23 March, when compared to 10,361.03 points in the previous week.
The market’s turnover shrank by 57.7% to stand at QAR 1.81 billion this week from QAR 4.277 billion in the past week.
QSE’s trading volume lost 50.55% to total 50.7 million shares from 102.533 million a week ago.
The market cap increased by 0.61% to reach QAR 559.56 billion from QAR 3.42 billion in the prior week.
QSE’s banks segment was the top gainer with 50.7%.
Qatar Islamic International Bank (QIIB) was the top winner during the week, with a 21.4% share of the overall liquidity.
