Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange’s (EGX) benchmark EGX30 index grew at Sunday’s open by 0.36% or 47 points to the level of 13,078.6 points.
Likewise, the EGX70 and EGX100 indices rose by 0.40% and 0.36%, respectively.
Trading volume reached 52.6 million shares exchanged through 3,140 transactions, resulting in a turnover of EGP 231 million.
Egyptian Starch and Glucose, Alexandria New Medical Center, Pyramisa Hotels, Arab Aluminum, and North Africa Real Estate Investment rose between 9.99% and 7.84%.
On the other hand, Misr Cement – Qena, Delta Sugar, Atlas for Land Reclamation, Sabaa Pharmaceutical, and Rubex declined between 5.91% and 2.76%.
Commercial International Bank – Egypt (CIB) shrank 0.04% to EGP 77.
Arab investors were net buyers by EGP 9.12 million, while Egyptian and foreign investors were net sellers by EGP 4.13 million and EGP 4.5 million, respectively.
