Kuwait – Mubasher: Educational Holding Group on Sunday said it has received a written note from the Kuwaiti Capital Market Authority (CMA), which entails cancelling the company’s shareholder decision for a voluntary withdrawal from the bourse.

On 19 January, the educational company’s ordinary general meeting (OGM) approved the board recommendation for a voluntary withdrawal from Boursa Kuwait, with 30.15% of shareholders being against this decision.

Educational Holding last reported KWD 1.68 million in profits for the first quarter which ended on 30 November 2016, up 69% from KWD 993,201 recorded in the corresponding period of the previous year.

By 11:45am Kuwait time, Educational Holding’s stock remained stable at 285 fils, after 10,010 shares changed at a turnover of KWD 2,800.
