Kuwait – Mubasher: Kuwait’s consumer price index (inflation) increased by 3.22% year-on-year in February 2017, data released by Kuwait’s Central Statistical Bureau (CSB) showed.
On a month-on-month basis, the Gulf country’s inflation decreased slightly by 0.07%.
Consumer prices were up in three categories, down in one, and remained unchanged in eight others.
Food and beverage prices declined 0.26% year-on-year, and 0.58% on a monthly basis, the data showed.
In January, Kuwait’s inflation was up 3.3% compared to the same period in 2016, but was down 0.07% compared to the previous month.
