Dubai– Decypha:  The number of Qatari investors in Dubai was estimated at 1006 in 2016, with total value of investment close to AED 2 billion, stated a report issued by Dubai Land Department (DLD).

“Dubai is a prime destination for real estate investments. The city is the most preferred destination for the investors from GCC in particular. As such, many Qatari investors choose Dubai as a realty investment destination because of its safe haven status and guaranteed on-going returns on investment,” said Dawood Al Shezawi, CEO of Strategic Marketing & Exhibitions.  He additionally added that Dubai’s powerful legislation and general government support are the main reasons behind the Emirate’s real estate market growth.

Affordable prices, ongoing promotions, real estate companies’ credibility, and suitable sales plans offered across many projects – all contribute to quick and steady growth of Dubai’s real estate market from the GCC and international investors, he further explained.

Last week Decypha reported that Indian real estate investments were the highest in the UAE, recording AED 91 billion. About AED 12 billion of property transactions by 6,263 buyers were of Indian origin,

Other investors in Dubai's real estate market include GCC citizens with AED 35 billion, Pakistan investments reaching AED 4.4 billion, and finally UK at AED 5.8 billion.
