Kuwait – Mubasher: Aayan Real Estate and Investment said that the court has postponed the lawsuit of Al Zad International Co. Business General Traders & Contractors.

The court has set 19 April to look into the request proposed by Al Zad Company against Aayan and the general manager of Kuwait municipality, according to a bourse filing issued on Monday.

The company noted that the lawsuit will not have any expected financial impact on itself.

Al Zad filed a case against the aforementioned parties to assign an expert to cancel a negative decision regarding the appeal against the general manager’s resolution for the company concerning the piece of land, over which Yaal Mall and Tower are established.

On the stock level, Aayan Real Estate fell 1.18% to reach 42 fils by 10:25am Kuwait time on Monday, after exchanging 216,000 shares at a value of nearly KWD 9,130.
