Tadawul records lowest liquidity since October on Monday

Riyadh – Mubasher: The main index of Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) shed 0.32% or 22 points to the level of 6,852,13 points.

Traded value reached SAR 2.48 billion compared to SAR 2.6 billion on Sunday, while traded volume stood at 111.78 million shares, compared to 120 million shares last session.

The insurance sector topped the worst performers and fell 1.53%, on the back of Bupa Arabia which lost 2.74% to SAR 115.50.

The banks sector went down 0.41%, after the National Commercial Bank (NCB) and Al Rajhi Bank levelled down 1.01% to SAR 38.10 and 0.16% to SAR 63.

The telecom sector inched down 0.36%, affected by Saudi Telecom Co. (STC), Mobily and Zain which decreased 0.04%, 0.92% and 0.46%, respectively.

The materials sector also fell 0.23%, on the back of SAFCO’s losses by 1.08% to SAR 67, while SABIC added 0.16% to SAR 96.50.

Bupa Arabia led the 118 losing stocks and retreated 2.74%, while Nadec topped gainers and hiked 9.76% to SAR 27.90.

Al Inma Bank was the most active in terms of traded values and volumes with 23.87 million shares exchanged at a value of SAR 355.17 million; the stock went down 0.54% to SAR 14.80.
