Riyadh – Mubbasher: The United Kingdom’s Prime Minister Theresa May visited the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) on Tuesday, accompanied by the CEO of the London Stock Exchange (LSE), Xavier Rolet.

The visit comes within the framework of deepening economic relations between the UK and Saudi Arabia, according to a bourse statement on Wednesday.

A meeting was held on the sidelines of the visit and mainly discussed enhancing economic relations and exploring possible future areas of cooperation in this regard.

The UK and Saudi delegations included the UK ambassador to Saudi Arabia, CEO of Tadawul, and the Saudi minister of commerce and investment.

Representatives from government sectors, including the governor of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA), chairman of the Capital Market Authority (CMA), and governor of the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA), in addition to representatives from the private sector, also attended the meeting.
