Riyadh – Mubasher:  Kingdom Holding Company (KHC) announced date changes for its planned dividend distributions for the second and third quarters of 2017, according to a bourse filing.

The previous dates coincided with weekends and therefore needed to be changed.

Shareholders registered by the end of trading on 29 April will be entitled to the dividends for Q2-17, which will be paid 10 days after the said trading session.

As for the third pay out, shareholders registered in KHC's books by the end of trading on 1 October will receive their distributions 10 days later.

KHC previously announced approving a quarterly cash dividend for 2017 from retained earnings representing 1.25% of the share’s par value, or at 5% for the full year 2017.

Last week, the board proposed dividends of 12.5 halalas per issued share per quarter, bringing distributions for 2017 to SAR 0.5 per share, totalling SAR 163.9 million quarterly.

Cash dividends for the full year 2017 are therefore estimated at SAR 655.9 million.

KHC's stock closed Thursday down 0.57% to SAR 10.6, with turnover on the stock reaching SAR 4.86 million.
