Nomu down 44 points with lowest liquidity ever

Riyadh - Mubasher: The Nomu-Parallel Market ended Sunday’s trading session in red for the second consecutive session, as turnover reached its all-time lowest level.

The main index (NOMU) lost 0.89% or 43.94 points, and closed at the level of 4,881.87 points.

Traded values decreased to SAR 2.63 million, their lowest level since trade on the Saudi parallel market on 26 February started, compared to SAR 4.2 million last session.

Traded volumes also shrank to 147,500 shares down from 230,120 shares on Thursday.

All of the market stocks ended the session in a decline with the exception of Al-Samaani, which grew 2.26% and closed at SAR 87.

On the other hand, Development Works Food was Sunday’s top loser and fell 2.73% to SAR 89.

Arab Sea Information System was the most active in both traded values and volumes with 89,000 shares exchanged at SAR 1.4 million.
