TASI closes on marginal gains after 2 declines

Riyadh - Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Monday’s trading session in green, after closing two consecutive sessions in red.

The Tadawul All Shares Index (TASI) levelled up 0.09%, gaining 6.3 points, and closed at the level of 7,011.73 points.

Traded values decreased to SAR 2.98 billion down from SAR 3.37 billion on Sunday, while traded volumes increased to 196.6 million shares compared to 178.99 million shares on yesterday’s session.

Zain led today’s gainers and surged 9.4%, closing at SAR 11.05, while Al Ahlia was the top decliner as it fell 3.67% and closed at SAR 13.4.

As for the market sectors’ performance, 10 sectors closed in green, led by the telecom sector index that rose 1.5%.

On the other hand, 12 sectors saw a decline, as pharmaceuticals declined by 1.37%, while media and publishing lost 0.41%.

Meanwhile, the materials sector slipped 0.02%, while the banks sector edged up 0.06%.
