Mubasher: Bank Dhofar on Tuesday announced appointing Abdul Hakeem Omar Al Ojaili as its CEO.

Al Ojaili was the bank’s acting CEO since October 2013, and has more than 26 years of banking experience, according to a filing to the Muscat Securities Market (MSM).

Al Ojaili has a Master’s degree in banking management from the University of Exeter, and a Bachelor degree in business administration from New England College in the UK.

The bank recently reported a 7.7% decline in profits reaching OMR 12.51 million in the first quarter of 2017, compared to OMR 13.56 million in Q1-16.
