Riyadh – Mubasher: The main index of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) added 0.04% or 2.99 points to 6,945.37 points at Wednesday’s open.
By 10:53 Makkah time, 31.75 million shares were exchanged through 15,990 transactions at a value of SAR 501.26 million.
REITs topped the best performers and rose 2.2%, followed by investment services with 1.2%.
The banks and telecom sectors increased 0.5% and 0.25%, respectively.
On the other hand, the pharma sector decreased 0.85%, followed by the commercial services and materials sectors which went down 0.4% and 0.36%, respectively.
Saudi Investment Bank led the 55 rising stocks and levelled up 4.5%, while Arabian Cement topped the 101 losing shares and declined 5.9%.
Moreover, the main index (NOMU) of Nomu-Parallel Market inched down 0.05% to stand at 4,882.58 points.
Development Works Food led the red zone and fell 3.1%, while Al-Samaani Factory For Metal Industries solely rose 0.74%.
