Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Sunday’s trading session with a mixed performance; the price index gained 0.51% or 33.60 points to reach 6,848.59 points, while both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices lost 0.09% and 0.18%, respectively.
By 9:45 am Kuwait time, the oil and gas sector topped gainers with a rise of 3.75%, endorsed by Napesco which gained 7.58% to be the top winner.
Meanwhile, the banks segment led decliners with a fall of 0.37%, dragged by AUB Kuwait which lost 3.57%.
The trading value stood at KWD 3.9 million after 33.2 million shares were exchanged through 821 transactions.
Al Imtiaz was the most active stock on which 7.92 million shares were traded at a value of KWD 1.4 million, rising 1.12%.
