Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Bahrain Bourse (BHB) on Sunday closed the session 0.17% or 2.22 points higher at 1,336.65 points.

The market’s turnover increased to about BHD 928,250 after trading volume grew to 2.12 million shares.

The banks segment was the only gainer with a rise of 0.51%, on the back of AUB which levelled up 1.43%.

Meanwhile, the investment sector led decliners with 0.29%, dragged by ABC which lost 1.56%.

Bahrain Duty Free Shop was the most active stock on which nearly 746,700 shares were exchanged at a value of BHD 571,200.
