Egypt spent $700m from the IFC portfolio

Cairo - Mubasher: The Egyptian minister of investment and international cooperation said that Egypt has used $700 million between 2015 and April 2017, as part of the cooperation portfolio with the International Finance Corporation (IFC).

Sahar Nasr added in a statement on Sunday that the available portfolio amounts to $2 billion, as part of the World Bank $8 billion finance portfolio for 2015-2019.

During her meeting with the IFC’s vice president, Nasr noted that she has discusses with the international organization the partnerships between the government and the private sector to help in supporting the economic development by creating more jobs and combating poverty.
