Mubasher: The financial statements of Bahrain Cinema showed a jump in profits in the first quarter of 2017 by 268.7% year-on-year.

The company said in a statement to the Bahrain Bourse on Sunday that net profits totalled BHD 1.6 million ($4.2 million) in Q1-17 compared to BHD 434,100 ($1.1 million) in Q1-16.

Revenues amounted to BHD 5.2 million compared to BHD 5.4 million in the same quarter the year before.
