Kuwait – Mubasher: The benchmark index of Boursa Kuwait started Thursday’s trading session 0.1% or 6.86 points lower at 6,758.15 points.

Meanwhile, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices gained 0.07% and 0.3%, respectively.

By 10:50 am Kuwait time, the oil and gas segment led five decliners with 1.7%, dragged by Burgan Drilling which lost 19.32% to be the top loser.

Meanwhile, the banks sector topped four gainers with 1.09%, on the back of Ithmaar Holding which rose 1.08%.

The market’s turnover amounted to about KWD 687,340 after 3.72 million shares were traded through 229 transactions.
