Kuwait – Mubasher: The main index of Boursa Kuwait went down 0.57% or 38.6 points to reach 6,772.09 points by the week ended on 22 June, compared with 6,810.68 points by the week ended on 15 June.

Meanwhile, the weighted index gained 0.8% or 3.18 points, and the Kuwait-15 index levelled up 2.1% or 18.94 points during the week.

The market’s liquidity surged 103.9% to KWD 60.85 million this week from KWD 29.84 million in the previous week.

The trading volume saw weekly gains of 63.7% to 249.09 million shares from 152.15 million, after the market’s transactions increased % to about 10,850 this week from about 7,190 in the prior week.

Boursa Kuwait’s market cap rose 0.66% or KWD 180 million ($591.51 million) to KWD 27.52 billion ($90.44 billion) this week from KWD 27.34 billion ($89.84 billion) a week ago.
