Kuwait - Mubasher: The price of Kuwaiti oil went up by 54 cents, according to the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC).

Kuwaiti crude registered $41.77 per barrel (pb) on Friday, compared to $41.23 pb on Thursday, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.

Oil prices in global markets also increased yesterday, as it was affected by the drop in the US dollar's exchange rate.

Brent crude oil rose 32 cents to $45.54 pb upon settlement, while West Texas Crude added 27 cents to reach $43.01 pb.
