Mubasher: The American Department of Energy is predicting another strong growth in the production of shale oil fields next month, as reported by CNBC on Tuesday.

According to the Energy Information Administration (EIA), American drillers are set to increase output in several shale oil and gas regions by another 81,000 barrels per day (pbd) in November. This will raise total output in these areas for the upcoming month to nearly 6.12 million barrels per day.

It is worth noting that the US crude output from all fields stood at 9.24 million barrels per day in July, the last period for which monthly data are available.
