Mubasher: Russia remained the largest crude oil supplier to China for the eighth consecutive month, despite Russian cargoes to the Asian country decreased in October.

Russian crude oil cargoes to China stood at 4.649 million tonnes (1.095 million barrels) on a daily basis in October, compared to 1.545 million barrels in September, China General Administration of Customs’ data revealed.

Year-on-year, Russia’s cargoes of crude oil to china decreased 1.9% in October.

Saudi Arabia ranked the second largest crude oil supplier to China, as the Kingdom’s supplies to China surged 16% in October, reaching 1.086 million barrels per day (bpd), compared to the corresponding period in the year earlier.

Angola ranked third with 839,840 bpd.

Cargoes from Iran retreated 11.5% year-on-year to reach 685,150 bpd in October.
