Mubasher: US crude oil inventories decreased by 6.9 million barrels, during the week that ended on 12 January, as shown by the data of the Energy Information Administration (EIA).

Oil stockpiles in the United States now stand at 412.65 million barrels.

American refinery inputs averaged 16.9 million barrels per day, 448,000 barrels per day less than the previous week’s average.
